New York, N.Y. February 12, 2003-- Quark introduces The Urban Survival Kit to help protect civilians against future terrorist attacks.

Being in one of the epicenters of the terrorist attacks of September 11, we were absolutely inundated with New Yorkers scrambling to obtain literally anything they could use to protect themselves.

Although our business primarily focuses on developing security, surveillance and counter surveillance equipment, we, fortunately, were able to provide some basic supplies to our community during a very frightening time.

Previously, we had also supplied the public with gas masks during the Gulf War in the early nineties. Our kits are designed for citizens who live, work, or visit urban areas and are therefore at risk to encounter some type of emergency situation.

MULTIPURPOSE EMERGENCY TOOL to break down doors, windows or dig through debris. 120 dB PERSONAL ALARM to alert others of your location in an emergency. LONG LIFE MILITARY LED FLASHLIGHT in case of power failure (can stay on for 30 days!) All contained within a compact GI ISSUE PUNCTURE-PROOF DUFFLE BAG.

Also included is a detailed instruction book outlining the entire kit, as well as a 24 page excerpt from the current guide to citizen preparedness, prepared by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency.) Dimensions of kit (contained in duffle bag) 19" x 11" x 9".
